Description
The RTLVD-HVDRxE is a Rack mounted QUAD multimode SCSI Converter. The RTLVD-HVDRxE SCSI Converter converts four Channels of SCSI Low Voltage Differential (LVD) to High Voltage Differential (HVD). This allows four LVD devices to be used with four HVD buses. This converter allows the LVD bus to operate at up to Ultra4 SCSI speeds (320 bytes/second). HVD devices will operate up to Ultra SCSI speeds (40 mbytes/second).The RTLVD-HVDRxE can also be used to extend the HVD SCSI bus, thus, increasing its total length up to 120 feet (37 meters). Because the RTLVD-HVDRxE is Multimode it can also convert HVD to SE SCSI.Enhanced cooling and low RPM/Failed Blower warning LEDs.
